Palace of Westminster

Palace of Westminster (known widely by more councils Parliament) which is the seat of parliament in the United Kingdom. The current building dates back to the 19th century when it was built in the aftermath of a fire in a wonderful example of Victorian architecture and the new Gothic. Located House of Commons (the elected members of Parliament) to the north of the building and decorated with green leather upholstery, and the House of Lords is located to the south and decorated for furnishings and red leather.
